Use it as a starting point
The generator stays inside the selected scale and biases movement according to mood and complexity. It is intentionally not trying to write a finished song: the goal is to create a coherent phrase you can alter.
MIDI export
The downloaded MIDI file contains the generated notes and timing at your selected tempo, so you can drop it into most music software and change the instrument, rhythm, or notes.
