Utility Laboratory does not require an account, run analytics or advertising, or send tool inputs and uploaded files to a server. Calculations, generators, image processing and document processing run locally in your browser.

Files and device features

Files you choose remain on your device and are read only to produce the requested local preview or download. The guitar tuner asks for microphone access only after you activate it; audio is analyzed in memory and is not recorded or uploaded. Copy and share buttons use your browser or operating system’s clipboard and share features when you choose them.

Local storage

Daily challenges may store the current scratchpad and completion state in your browser’s local storage so they survive a refresh. This information is not transmitted by Utility Laboratory. Clear this site’s browser data to remove it.

Third parties

The production site loads no third-party fonts, scripts, trackers or APIs. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those services are enabled.
